It's like being a frosh again

Being back in Vancouver after a year away does imply a sort of "rebirth" for me. For example, for the first time in years, I actually perused the SFU clubs days tables. This time, it was not just aimless sauntering in mild disinterest, mostly comparing others' advertising materials with that of the CSSS table, no.

Today, I went on a purposeful quest to sign up for SFU Cheerleading (No experience required?! Cool), then accidentally signed up for Jazz Band and the "Barkada" Filipino Club (they said they could teach me Tagalog!). Awesome!

Tryouts are tomorrow night. I haven't done gymnastics since I was 13, so this will be interesting...

Oh no! I didn't even go to their Icebreaker night. Apparently they had pan-de-sal all over the place! (off to make myself a cheese and egg pan-de-sal sandwich...)
