I got my eyebrows done today.
I'm kind of dreading heading to class in an hour, apprehensive of "Angelica, what's wrong with your face??" comments. Yes, it does look like several honeybees decided to perform multiple suicide sting attacks on my delicately bronzed skin. Redness is what waxing is, and why I walked to the office subsequently with my head down and my hair all over my face.
On the upside, I went into the washroom to check out the new shape, and I realized that when I do this *raises one eyebrow*, I produce a much more clean, powerful skeptical look.

Don't Spoil Your Appetite!
Robotting is like that sweet sweet candy you can't have until you finish your dinner. *sigh* Another day whence I was tempted with Roomba iCreates and prospects of RoboCup amidst my otherwise very satisfying meal of letter recognition research.
There's something creamy and delicious about imagining ways to make a robot fetch your newspaper, or recognize its owner. Not only did I have to beat myself down with a stick from recruiting a team for RoboCup@Home today, I also had to literally drag my own body out of the room filled with 45 robots, 11 of which were being played with before my own eyes.
I did eventually strap myself to my desk with invisible chains to recommence concentration on What Actually Matters, but gosh darn. That was tough.
So yeah. Just... no more R-word until this project's got a paper submitted. OK? OK.
PS. I do enjoy my CAPTCHAs, though, I really do... *sniffle*

Bored.
So, I guess I haven't blogged in a while.
... *crickets*...
I've been busy, alright. You know, playing a little Zelda, Phantom Hourglass, bussing endlessly from Surrey to school, and getting sick like ALL THE TIME.
(Sorry, just recently watched all 34 KevJumba youtube clips, and am picking up the nonchalant attitude.)
So yeah. BUSY.
When I'm not busy doing nothing, I'm doing cool things like secret computing science research work (which I'll talk about if/when I actually get results I can brag about). Let's just say it has something to do with CAPTCHAs. And not at all about trying to break them.
I'm also building a terrifying robot in my basement, which may in fact bring an end to world hunger, car washes, and Oprah. So far, it has aged to the level of a 4-month infant, and is progressing steadily.
I'm just kidding. So far I only have blueprints, where blueprints mean drawings in my FREN 301 notebook, and drawings mean scribbles with hearts and flowers. *sigh* One day I will build robots, with real hearts. And real flowers.
OH DID I MENTION I WON A FREE TRIP TO GOOGLE!?
... I need to go to bed.
